How does Drive Options work?

Use the Drive Options app to request your next vehicle, including when and where you would like the next vehicle. A Drive Options concierge will deliver the fresh vehicle, transfer everything over to your new car, and ensure you’re all set to go. Flip into new cars as often as you would like. Our goal is to ensure you have the perfect car for any occasion.

What is included in a Drive Options subscription?

Every Drive Options subscription includes rights to a vehicle, insurance, and unlimited flips between vehicles. Mileage allowance starts at 1250 miles.


** Executive/Executive+/Exotic: 40 miles per day; $1 overage per mile

The concierge team delivers hand detailed vehicles to wherever you request. We take care of all maintenance and repairs so you can focus on driving.

How does insurance work?

Insurance is included with all Drive Options subscriptions. All approved drivers are covered by the Drive Options insurance policy. Policy highlights:

$2,000 Deductible 

$1,000,000 liability coverage (combined single limit)

$300,000 uninsured motorist (combined)

$2,000 medical payments to offset any out of pocket or deductible costs

How long can I keep a vehicle?

As long as you want!


There are no restrictions on how long or how short your flips can be. Occasionally, when a vehicle has been with a member for many weeks, we might need to ask for it back so that we can do routine tasks like preventive maintenance.  Also, we flip members into a new ride when a vehicle is being retired from the fleet. However, at worst we’ll flip you into a fresh vehicle that is just like the one you have.

In practice, most members flip several times a month and enjoy doing so!

How new are the vehicles?

All vehicles are the current or prior model year. Each vehicle is detailed before and after it ever goes to a member. Many of our members tell us that every vehicle feels like new!

How do I join Drive Options?

Download our app "Drive Options" and hit “Sign up”. Follow the instructions to create an account. You will need to provide a debit card, select a plan, and provide a picture of your driver’s license. We will verify your information and check your driving history. We may need to speak with you during that process. In most cases, we can approve an application within one business day. Then we will contact you to get you started and schedule your first flip!

Who is eligible?

Anyone 21 or over with a valid license and clean driving record.

What should I do with my old vehicle?

How well equipped are the vehicles?

The majority of vehicles are equipped with a mid to high-end trim package. Most of our vehicles have leather seats. Other options vary by make/model and specific vehicle. We cannot guarantee the availability of certain options.

Are pets allowed in vehicles?

We do allow pets in the vehicles, but they must be transported in a crate. It is better for the car and safer for your pet!

What happens if my vehicle needs repair?

Our goal is that you will never have to worry about maintenance or repair issues. If something unforeseen occurs, use the Drive Options app to notify us and we will get you back driving!

What happens if I get into an accident?

First, make sure that everyone is safe, get your vehicle to a safe place, exchange information with the other parties and notify the police. Once the situation is stabilized, call our concierge line (provided to members upon joining). We will bring you a fresh vehicle and handle everything with respect to the vehicle involved in the incident.  

How much advance notice is required for a flip?

While there is no minimum notice required, the best experience is to book a few days in advance.

Booking a vacation? Go ahead and book your flip too.

Need something this afternoon? Don't stress, we will bring you the best option available.

Do I tip the concierge?

Drive Options does not allow tipping. Concierge delivery is part of the overall Drive Options member experience and included with the monthly subscription. If you have an exceptional Concierge experience feel free to reflect it in the service rating or by letting the team know.

Where can I find the insurance card?

View a digital version of your insurance card under "Your Current Ride" on the home screen of your Drive Options app. Hard copies of the insurance card can also be found in the glovebox.

What about fuel?

All Drive Options cars are delivered with a full tank of gas, and Drive Options members are  responsible for the fuel they use. Drive Options charges the amount of gas it takes to fill up the gas tank after the vehicle is picked up. 

When is payment due?

A valid debit card is required during sign up. Your first payment will be charged when we confirm delivery of your first vehicle. Subsequent payments will be charged on a monthly basis, in advance. Any additional charges for gas or upgrades will be charged as soon as the flip ends.

What is the minimum commitment to Drive Options?

Drive Options is a monthly subscription service. Pay for the first 31 days and give it a try. If you like it, your subscription will renew automatically monthly after the first period. If you ever want to cancel, just let us know and we will end your subscription after your current month has expired.

Do you offer corporate memberships?

Can I pause my subscription?

Yes. Going out of town? Love Drive Options but need a break? Just pause your account and have one less monthly bill covering something you're not even using. No lease or loan allows that! 

Pause your account for any number of days for free!! There is a $75 fee for us to pick-up the vehicle when you pause. The fee can be avoided by dropping the vehicle off at our HQ. 

What is the Executive/ Executive+/Exotic upgrade fee?


Trendsetter Member: $60 daily

Visionary Member: $35 daily

Executive +:

Trendsetter Member: $95 daily

Visionary Member:  $70 daily


Trendsetter Member: $195

Is there a mileage limit per month?

Drive Options subscriptions start at 1250 miles of driving per month across the vehicles you flip into.  Each plan has multiple tiers with additional miles included if you are looking to drive more than 1250 miles per month.  The tiers are as follows:


Tier l   : $1475  1250 miles

Tier ll  : $1575  1500 miles  

Tier lll : $1725  2000 miles



Tier l    :  $1895  1250 miles

Tier ll   : $1995  1500 miles

Tier lll  :  $2145  2000 miles


Any unused miles 'roll over' each month you continue with the service! If you don't have 'roll over' miles, each additional mile over in a given month will have a $0.50 per mile surcharge.

Can anyone else drive the vehicle?

Yes, eligible drivers may be registered as "Additional Drivers" and added to the member’s account.

Are members responsible for their Drive Options car?

Yes, we expect our members to take care of Drive Options vehicles as if they owned them. Please drive responsibly, keep your vehicle clean, and let us know of any minor dings or spills via the Drive Options app.

What is the condition of the vehicles?

Drive Options is committed to delivering vehicles that are in excellent condition. To that end, we use technology to ensure that the vehicles are properly maintained and driven responsibly.

What happens if minor cosmetic damage or windshield damage occurs while the vehicle is  in my possession?

If a vehicle sustains cosmetic damage such as wheel damage, curb rash, a cracked windshield, dings and dents, or any other cosmetic damage that requires repair, you will be responsible for the cost.

What data does Drive Options collect?

We want to ensure the best service and safety for all of our members. To do so, we keep track of various data points to record vehicle and driver history. For more information on terms of use, please reference Drive Options' privacy policy.
